🐟 Blackened Salmon Cajun Alfredo Pasta

🛒 Ingredients:

  • Pasta – 250g

  • Salmon fillet – 1 large (around 200–250g)

  • Cajun seasoning – 2 tablespoons

  • Butter – 1 tablespoon

  • Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic – 2 cloves, minced

  • Heavy cream – 1 cup

  • Parmesan cheese – 1 cup

  • Paprika – ½ tsp (optional)

  • Salt & black pepper – to taste

  • Lemon wedges – for serving

  • Fresh parsley – for garnish


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Cook Pasta

    • Boil pasta as usual. Reserve some water, then drain.

  2. Blacken the Salmon

    • Pat salmon dry. Rub all over with Cajun seasoning.

    • Heat olive oil + butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Cook salmon skin-side down first for 4–5 mins, then flip and cook 3–4 mins more, until nicely blackened and cooked through. Set aside.


  3. Make the Sauce

    • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.

    • Add garlic and sauté briefly.

    • Pour in cream, add Parmesan, and stir until thick and creamy.

    • Season with a pinch more Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and paprika if using.

  4. Combine

    • Toss pasta into the sauce.

    • Serve salmon over the top (whole or flaked).

    • Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
