🍝 Ingredients:

Fettuccine or penne pasta – 250g

Butter – 2 tablespoons

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Garlic – 3 cloves, minced

Heavy cream – 1 cup

Parmesan cheese – 1 cup, grated

Cajun seasoning – 1 to 2 tablespoons (adjust to your spice level)

Paprika – ½ teaspoon (optional, for extra color)

Salt and pepper – to taste

Chicken breast or shrimp – 300g, cleaned and sliced

Fresh parsley – for garnish

Lemon juice – a squeeze (optional, brightens the flavor)

Cook the Pasta

Boil pasta in salted water until al dente.

Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Season and Cook the Protein

Toss sliced chicken or shrimp with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.

Cook the chicken (4–5 mins) or shrimp (2–3 mins per side) until cooked through and slightly charred.

Remove and set aside.

Make the Cajun Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter.

Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Stir in Parmesan cheese, remaining Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Let it simmer until the sauce thickens (about 3–5 mins).

Add a splash of pasta water if it gets too thick.
